Green Foundation Ireland, in association with TU Dublin Green Week, invite you to participate in an afternoon in-person film screenings and discussion:

Nature Restoration in Ireland: Meet the Storytellers

GETTING THERE

You should enter TU Dublin Bolton Street from the King’s Inn entrance.

BST-236 Kinema is on the ground floor, to the right as you enter the building, and there will be signage and Student Ambassadors to guide you to the room.

SCREENING of This is Our River
This film tells the story of the citizens and communities along the River Dodder who are working to restore and preserve the river that flows from the Wicklow Mountains to Dublin Port. As part of their efforts to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the River Dodder, the Dodder Action group commissioned documentary film-maker John Gormley to make this educational film.

16:35 to 17:10:
SCREENING of The Forest Midwife
This documentary tells about the wisdom of trees and the power of a human. The documentary follows writer and social entrepreneur Catherine Cleary and her work over the last year to transform a piece of land in County Roscommon into a forest and nature reserve. Produced and directed by filmmaker Beta Bajgart, it also features the voice of renowned Irish actor Mary McEvoy.
