Events

Green Foundation Ireland events address issues such as flooding and climate change, food security, and building sustainable communities.

GFI events such as seminars and summer schools vary from the very practical, such as the future of work addressed by the conference on Sustainable Jobs: Developing the Circular Economy, to the philosophical, such as Green Values and the Ethical Basis for Social and Environmental Action. GFI events such as Moynalty Goes Wild celebrate the beauty of wild Ireland, and its plants, animals and living creatures. Contrast this with the waste and detritus with which human beings litter our island home.

Through GFI events we aim to achieve not only education in the care of our human habitats but also a vision of a less destructive and more harmonious relationship with the natural environment and its creatures.
